Headingley Hill

Headingley Hill rises between Hyde Park Corner and Headingley Centre, extending along both sides of Headingley Lane and north to Woodhouse Ridge.  See the downloadable map on the Home page.

For an outline description of the area, go to Headingley Hill, and also see Listed Buildings.  Headingey Hill is a residential neighbourhood, between the Shopping Centres of Headingley Town Centre and Hyde Park. It backs onto the local park, Woodhouse Ridge.  For a walk round Headingley Hill, see pp253-260 in the Pevsner Architectural Guide to Leeds, by Susan Wrathmell (Yale UP, 2005). And for a walk along Headingley Lane, click here. The Hill is crossed by Headingley’s oldest Ginnel. Buses on Headingley Lane connect to town and the Dales.
