A home away from home, in Headingley

With our two existing Premier Inn hotels in Leeds City Centre trading fantastically well, Headingley was a no-brainer when it came to identifying a location for our next opening in the city.

It may be the sporting links that put it on the map – home to the famous Headingley Stadium with Leeds Rhinos and Yorkshire County Cricket Club grounds – plus an active calendar of local community events and festivals, Leeds Beckett University campus round the corner, and the University of Leeds and Leeds city centre all right on the doorstep too. Headingley is a place that visitors flock to all year round.

To meet this huge demand for accommodation in the area, we’re thrilled to have brought a 96-bedroom Premier Inn hotel and 80 cover on-site restaurant to Otley Road. Opened in February 2018, not only do we offer guests a great place to stay in Headingley, but the Inn also breathes new life into the vacant Arndale House building.

Most of all, we’re excited to be part of Headingley’s future and become a firm fixture in the community. We have invested more than £7 million in this development, and around 30 jobs were created during the construction. The new hotel and restaurant  delivers 45 new year-round jobs for the local area.

We have started welcoming guests, and helping them to discover all that Headingley and the surrounding area has to offer.
