TinyBeats

I’m Cat and I have recently started leading TinyBeats classes at The Den in Headingley Central. I used to be a language teacher at the University of Leeds but, after having my two children, I knew I wanted a job that enabled me to spend more time with my two little ones. I actually took both my kids to TinyBeats sessions, and we loved it. So, when the opportunity arose, I jumped at the chance to take this new job. Not that it really feels like a job, it’s so much fun and I love meeting all the babies, toddlers and their parents.

Tinybeats are baby and toddler classes that are designed to allow your child’s imagination run riot. It was established by a mum of three and primary school teacher. TinyBeats has been made with love, care and passion for the development of little ones. We explore a different theme every week using lots of music, props, dance and actions. There are also elements of baby massage for the younger groups and Makaton in every group.

One of the best parts of TinyBeats is the colourful, friendly, and sometimes cheeky monkeys: Milo, Maddie and Max. Each group has their own special monkey who comes out to play during the sessions. Come along to meet them sometime! There are also plenty of photo opportunities each week, especially when the fancy dress comes out!

Headingley classes take place in The Den.  The Den is a lovely location for young children and their families.  As well as a room for classes like TinyBeats, they have a lounge area where you can go and relax, have a cuppa, and get to know other families.  It is so welcoming and a really great spot in the centre of Headingley.  If you aren’t sure where to find us, pop up the stairs in Sainsbury’s and we are a few steps away to the left of the car park.

Another great thing about TinyBeats is you can pay weekly or do block bookings.  We would love to meet you, so please come along soon!
