Wandering through Weetwood

Originally part of the great Kirkstall Abbey estate, following the Dissolution of the monasteries, Weetwood was acquired by the Foxcroft family, who built Weetwood Hall. The lands were later divided and sold, until in the latter nineteenth century, it became one of the best addresses in Leeds. A wander through Weetwood with local historian Janet Douglas visits some of its most interesting buildings.
