Headingley LitFest

Headingley LitFest 2 IMG_5875.jpg

The small team of volunteers which organises the Headingley LitFest aims to do much more than deliver a literature festival. We are very grounded in local talents for creative writing, performances in music, drama, song and poetry, but we’re not just parochial -  contributors come all from all parts of Leeds and far beyond.

2018 is the eleventh annual Litfest and our March programme is full of great talent. It will be the last LitFest in its current form, which is why the theme is ‘Endings’. In future there will be many more ‘Between the Lines’ events scattered throughout the year. Look out for us all year round.

We work with lots of community partners, including local primary schools, and with volunteers young and old, so get in touch if you fancy joining us at events, writing for our blog or performing.

Check out our events in venues such as HEART and Headingley Library, and check out our website and blog on http://www.headingleylitfest.org.uk/   and www.headingleylitfest.blogspot.com. Look us up on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram too!
